We’re welcoming in the festive season with the return of our iconic Pandoro Christmas Cake and the debut of handcrafted Milk Chocolate Baubles.
PANDORO CHRISTMAS CAKE
Our Pandoro Christmas Cake is back with a new look and flavour profile. Naturally coloured with a raspberry chocolate spray and crowned with raspberry ganache, the cake is finished with an edible handmade Milk Chocolate Bauble designed to be removed and hung from the Christmas tree as a decorative ornament. Inside, layers of rich chocolate semifreddo, cherry cream and sour cherry gelato, redcurrant jam, Italian pandoro cake, strawberry and cream gelato and redcurrant stracciatella gelato come together to create a nostalgic yet elevated festive dessert that serves 12 to 15 people.
The Pandoro Christmas Cake is priced at $120; pre-orders have opened now. Online orders can be collected in-store from Tuesday 9 December through to Christmas Eve. The Pandoro Christmas Cake can also be purchased in-store from Tuesday 9 December onwards subject to availability.
MILK CHOCOLATE BAUBLES
Joining our line-up this year are brand new handmade Milk Chocolate Baubles, as featured on the
Pandoro cake. Handmade in small batches at the Fitzroy Laboratorio using single-origin Dominican Republic milk chocolate, each bauble is wrapped in red foil and presented in a keepsake tin lined with tissue paper and a Pidapipo card. The baubles can be hung from the Christmas tree making them the perfect festive gift or edible decoration.
A pack of four is $25 and available now at all Pidapipo stores, with limited supply also available at Morning Market.
